This is a very rare Moore Deringer with the Eagle-Shield engraved on the backstrap. Doug Eberhart's book states that these were made for Presentations after the Civil War. The barrel retains 95% of the original silver finish. The Brass frame has been cleaned and there traces of Gold wash left on the frame. This is a very affordable Eagle Shield Moore.
