A fine cased pair of English percussion pocket pistols, about 1840; about .50 cal, cased-hardened octagonal barrels 3 1/2" long, marked Maker To His Majesty /W. Parker / Holborn / London (William Parker who worked in London at 233 High Holborn 1793-1841), London proof marks; 200 mm total length; engraved cased-hardened frame, swivelling ramrods; cased-hardened hammers; belt hook to the left side of the frame; excellent checkered walnut grips with German silver escutcheons; blued triggers; in fitted original case lined in green velvet with original accessories; the interior of the lid with the original trade label of William Parker 233 High Holborn London
