This Cased 5" 1849 Pocket Model revolver is in good condition. The case is original, with some repair to the left front edge of the lid. The lining of the case is original. Serial number is 236026 and all matching, .31 caliber. Top of barrel is marked "Address Col SAMl COLT New York US America". This is considered the one line NY address. This gun is correct in every way. Retains 80% original blue on the barrel, the case hardened frame has 40-50% of the original case hardening thinning to patina, but still visible. 98% of the cylinder scene is present 25% of the original silver plated brass backstrap has the plating intact with tarnish in the correct places. The walnut grips have the original varnish on them, with a few bruises as do most. This gun is a very good cased specimen in every respect. The cap tin is a Hicks made my Winchester. The flask has turned dark on 1 side, and has tight seams and no dents.
