Details for Item # 05841816 Simeon North Percussion Conversion Pistol       Price: US $1695.00   Order Go Back

Maker: Simeon North - Middletown CT.

Model 1816 Simeon North flint pistol converted to percussion. The conversion is a drum conversion with quite a different protrusion on the end of the drum. I have not seen another conversion quite like this one. The barrel is marked with the P US and a X condemnation mark on the barrel indicating state militia service. RJ marked barrel inspectors for Robert Johnson or JD Johnson next to the drum. The stock flat has a cartouche from Luther Sage LS. All other typical markings on screw heads, back straps, front barrel band. A interesting percussion conversion.
