Maker: J & W Richards
This is a very fine early Blunderbuss. It has British proofs on the barrel, I believe Birmingham proofs on the barrel, and it has Irish registration on the top of the barrel. There is very fine patina on the barrel, and darkening patina on the lock. The lock would clean up better, but I will leave that choice to the new owner. This has a 11 7/8" barrel, it is round all the way. The muzzle flares out to 1.430" wide. Typical brass furniture with 2 ramrod pipes. This is a very nice condition gun.
